1. Variety
Tang Dynasty Mould Co., Ltd is capable of manufacturing multi-cavity PET preform mould,
2. No. of Cavity
The No. of cap mould cavity can be 2, 4, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64 or 72;
3. Steel
For long life of PET preform mould, generally we choose high-grade steel as core, cavity and screw neck. We choose to Switzerland ASSAB S136, which is called stainless steel, easy to polish;
All plates are adopted P20;
4. Steel treatment and hardness
1) Heat treatment and hardness
We entrust a specialized heat treatment company for PET preform mould
Preform mould's cores, cavity and screw neck are taken pre-hard processing first .After that, they will be adopted vacuum quenching to make its hardness of these parts reach HRC46 ~ HRC48 to improve parts intensity and make them not easy to wear;
2) Plate
In general, all the plates are with chrome to prevent rusting;
5. Hot runner system
All PET perform moulds are adopted valve gate hot runner system and every nozzle is controlled by independent temperature controller to make sure each cavity’s temperature fluctuates with 2 celsius degree;
The accessories of hot runner system are imported from well-knows manufacturers. Heating rings are from Germany hotset; insulators are from America Dupont; Pin valves are from Japan Punch and etc.
6. Processing
The mould is completed by high-speed processing center and mould is one-time processing and with high precision to assure no misplace and thinner spue line.
All components of preform mould are completed by precise CNC lathes, CNC processing center and EDM to have high precision and ensure the life;
Standard design and precise processing make each part of preform mould replaceable or exchangeable;
Assembly work of preform mould is finished by mould makers with 15 year experience to ensure the quality;
7. Preform mould cycle time and life
We provide two different schemes of preform mould in order to meet reasonable cycle time,For example 14g 30/25 neck preform mould (this preform blowing 500 ML bottle)
Scheme 1: with preform mould and common injection molding machine, in general, cycle time is 18 ~ 20 seconds;
Scheme 2: with preform mould and special injection molding machine , cooperated with reasonable auxiliary equipment, the mould is adopted the fast cooling material, cycle time is controlled under 14 seconds;
Preform mould shots can reach at least 5million with good steel, reasonable heat treatment and precise processing.
